Introducing Gerald! Ta-dah!!

I really enjoy doing amigurumi. Making cute cuddly toys just makes me happy,ย  and happiness is something that I always welcome ๐Ÿ™‚

So, when I stumbled across a cute little crocheted giraffe on my travels through blogland I knew that I just had to make someting similar for myself. Off to my leftover scraps from mynepic blanket I went, and a few days later Gerald was born!

Want to say hello? Here he is, the cute little critter ๐Ÿ™‚

Isn’t he a sweetie? More pics? A close up maybe?

Awww, bless him ๐Ÿ™‚ he even has a cheeky smile ๐Ÿ™‚

The basics of the pattern came from I Love Buttons, although I altered it slightly by giving him a longer neck and chunkier horns ๐Ÿ™‚

Sewing the componentparts together wasn’t particularly easy, as there weren’t any instructions how to, so I had to wing it slightly,ย  and go off the photos. It was definitely worth it as Gerald is adorable!

I hope you like the newest member of my family โ™กโ™ฅโ™กโ™ฅโ™ก

Until next time!
